This is a great and valuable opportunity from Mr. David Diebold who sits on our honorable advisory board of CCA. Mr. Diebold is the chief executive of David Diebold & Associates Ltd. He holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Cornell University. He was also the chief admission officer of Cornell University in China.
Description
We are trying to find 3 volunteers whether Chinese or foreign who have attended top US universities, to lead a hands-on two-way discussionwith a small group of Chinese senior high school students over the National Dayholiday (Oct 1-5) at a very nice resort just outside of Shenyang. All travel and other expenses paid.
The three available subject areas are: Business,Engineering and Biotech/Chemistry. We have already got great volunteers for International Relations, Psychology and Design. This is NOT a cram course - infact exactly the opposite, to open up students minds to the possibilities ofthese subjects, through discussion, independent research, projects andpresentations.
The ideal person is someone who knows one of these four subjects - either through their studies or their jobs - and would enjoy exploring itwith some very bright kids from Shenyang, the Northeast and elsewhere aroundthe country. The students are all in Chinese international track programs (i.e.not expatriate schools) and speak English well. The entire program will be in English.
Here is a clip from the first one we organized in early August
