Position Description
We are seeking a highly skilled, dynamic, and reliable sales and marketing assistant to help our company grow in current and new markets. In this position, you will work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing on sales, marketing, and advertising campaigns.  You should have excellent communication skills, a passion for health and wellness, and a love of engaging with people from all walks of life.

This is either a full-time or part-time position, based out of our office on West State Street in downtown Ithaca.
Primary Objectives
•        Promote a positive image to customers and business partners
•        Provide friendly and dependable customer service
•        Increase market share in the Traditional Chinese Medicine industry
•        Help grow bulk sales to the broader Health and Wellness industry
Major Areas of Responsibility
•        Provide prompt customer service, sales support and follow-up communication
•        Generate new sales and nurture customer relationships
•        Manage data for new and prospective customers
•        Assist with the development of marketing materials, including newsletters, print and digital advertising, web content, and trade show assets
•        Attend or exhibit at regional and national trade shows serving the Chinese medicine and health and wellness industries
•        Assist in the launch and maintenance of our new webstore
•        Establish and maintain the company’s social media presence
•        Assist the sales operations team with orders as needed
Job Requirements
•        Outgoing personality and positive attitude
•        Excellent oral and written communication skills
•        Experience with customer service and comfort with telephone and office etiquette
•        Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented
•        Desire to learn new concepts and technologies
•        Optional, highly desired:
o        Experience with graphics software (Adobe Illustrator, PageMaker, etc.)
o        Experience working with CRM software
o        Chinese language skills
o        A desire to learn any of the above
