【Event】CSSA 首届羽毛球赛

“羽”你相约, 由CSSA和CVSA联合主办的第一届羽毛球赛强势来袭啦！
此次羽毛球赛将在11月20、21日在Helen Newman Hall举办，包含男单、男双、混双，女单四项比赛。
报名方式：发送邮件到 lx223@cornell.edu，注明姓名、netid、要参加的比赛（男单，女单，男双，混双，每个人只能参加其中之一）；如果参加双打，请再注明队友姓名及netid
报名截止时间：11月18日（周三）晚12点

每项比赛的获胜者都会获得我们精心准备的奖品噢！潮男也要有展现力量的时候，萌妹纸也会有爆发怪力的一天！所以，还在等什么呢，丢掉外套丢掉书包，“羽”你相约在康村美丽的冬季！
比赛规则：
为了让所有报名选手都尽可能地参与比赛，同时考虑到场地和时间限制，本次比赛采取“双败淘汰制”，其过程（以8支队伍为例，届时可能根据报名人数稍作调整）如下：第一轮：8支队伍随机配对，一局（21分，下同）定胜负，4支胜队进入胜者组，4支败队进入败者组。第二轮：组内对决，一局定胜负，胜者组的2只败队进入败者组，败者组的2只败队淘汰。第三轮：胜者组不比赛；败者组组内再次对决，一局定胜负，2只败队淘汰。第四轮（决赛阶段，此时胜败者组各有两支队伍）：组内对决，此时采取三局两胜，胜者组的胜队与败者组胜队争夺冠军，之后胜者组败队和冠军战败队争夺亚军，此战败队为季军。

About our panelists:
Divya Ramsinghani is a Chemical Engineer pursuing a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management at Cornell. She worked for 2 years as an Analyst at Ernst & Young within the IT Risk division in Mumbai, India.Zhonghao (Gavin) Guo is a student in the MPA program at Cornell, graduating in summer 2016. He has internship experience both in China and in the US and will be joining Bain & Company in the Shanghai office next September.Jiaozheng (Jason) Pan is a student in the M.S. program at Cornell in Regional Science. He worked as a Research Intern at McKinsey & Company in the Beijing office in China and recently joined the leadership board of CGCC as the VP of the Consulting Engagement Division.

演讲人　－　许春辉教授简介
许春辉先生是康奈尔大学应用工程物理专业的终身教授。许教授于1989年毕业于复旦大学，1996年获康奈尔大学应用物理学博士学位。许春辉教授在光学成像和光纤通讯领域中发表学术论文106篇，总计被引用超过7300次，获得专利授权20个。近年来他所带领的研究团队在多光子深层组织成像技术领域始终保持世界最高水平。许春辉教授开创了同步时空聚焦（SimultaneousSpatial and Temporal Focusing）双光子显微技术。该技术提供了一种全新的高速、具有光学切片功能的宽场成像手段。过去的10年里，许教授承担了美国NIH, NFS和 DARPA等20个项目共计超过1500万美元。获得2014美国国家发明家学会会士，2010美国光学学会会士，2008 工程学院杰出教学奖等奖项。
