ENCSS(中国学生及学者环境与公共健康合作会) 于2006年由来自美国20所知名大学的中国学生和学者联合组建，旨在与促进海内外关注环境、健康和中外经济文化交流的人士之间的信息与资源交流。
自创建以来，ENCSS在中外政府、学术单位、企业等众多机构的支持下取得了长足而广泛的发展。现协作会会员来自美国27个州40余所高校，联邦和地方政府机构，跨国和本土企业；在中国国内也与40余所高校和政府及企事业单位建立了各种合作交流关系。合作会通过设立姊妹学校/城市，组织学术与经贸交流活动和各种交流培训项目为广大海内外华人提供了一个广泛交流与合作的平台。
ENCSS 2011年会将于8月17-19日在美国纽约举行，会议为与会者提供了了解中美有关环境、健康政策技术，实地参观环境治理项目，与美国政府、企业、NGO负责人互动等各种交流机会。会议资助与支持单位包括：联合国发展署、美国环保总署、纽约环境保育局，Holland&Knight, Hunton&Williams, US Bank 等20多家政府与跨国企业的支持。
会议将免费提供宾馆住宿、会议间餐饮和实地参观。为鼓励节省能源，纽约外（100mile) 三人以上carpool可获得50%（最多100美元）油费补贴。 如有需要会议将提供邀请函和注册发票/收据。

The Environment & Public Health Network for Chinese Students and Scholars (ENCSS) is a network that connects students, scholars, business, and government institutions in China, U.S. and other countries to improve the environment and public health. We share knowledge, opportunity, resources, and responsibility by facilitating collaboration, sustainable relationships and the development of people and organizations.
The integrated expertise and intellects brought in by our members from over 60 different disciplines are a unique merit of the network, laying a solid foundation for ENCSS to solve real problems. The members of our organization are from more than 40 universities, local governments and international /domestic corporations in 27 states of the U.S.A. We also have cooperation and relationships with more than 40 universities and government institutions in China. Being a network for individuals, institutions and other networks, ENCSS promotes scholarly exchanges, builds productive friendships and helps foster future leaders. Through networking we provide a platform for information and personnel exchange, problem identification and solution-finding, as well as project designing and implementation. |
